Fertilized & Feeding Question

We would like to put the girls outdoor pen over the garden and let them go to town, BUT in June hubby put fertilizer 12.12.12 on the garden. It was mulched sereral times and we had good rains in June & July. Is it safe for them? They would love to be in there, but only if it is safe.

I would think that fertilizer has long since dissolved and soaked into the soil and would be fine. Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to put mine in there. Hth!

I also think that the fertilizer would be disolved into the ground by now. Your chickens will probably be more interested in the leftover garden and bugs and stuff and not eat too much dirt. Enjoy the show!!!
