Silkie is a roo.not true about him attacking you.every now and then you get an aggressive one silkies rarely are and I've been raising poultry for 40+ years.I raise silkies,old english and several standard breeds.

thats good to hear @bigbruce @Kev He is pretty flighty right now and shy. He gets so scared he tries to bite so I was thinking of taking him in with a diaper every once in a while to make him more social.

From his behavior, he sounds like a roo. Very few roos are very social and not flighty. Hens may mount; I had a couple do that for a while, but they didn't do it often and stopped after a couple weeks. My roos do it a lot and so far have not stopped.

Thank you to everyone who replied and helped me out! This morning we heard his first little crow! (My hen still beat him with her crow), but he's definitely a he!
