Fertilizer Question

My husband is wanting to fertilize our yard. We have one 1 week old and 4 week old back ducklings.

Is it safe to fertilize?

Any organic should be fine. U can do compost tea! U can never over do on that!!

Fertilizer is fine. If money is not a major consideration, and lawn is not huge, I'd do liquid with hose end sprayer. If on a tighter budget, I'd do granular fertilizer, and see to it that it gets watered in VERY WELL before letting the animals back on it. I will not use herbicide/pesticide on my lawn EVER. Of course manure or compost tea, or light application of either would be great. I don't fertilize my lawn, don't worry about the weeds. I use wood ash as it becomes available, and let the flock fertilize it as they are working it for insects.
