Fertilizer question

Hello,
I am relatively new to gardening. I recently used grow bags to plant some lettuce, carrots, potatoes, strawberries, and onions. The potting soil I used was fertilized, but we’ve had a lot of rain and I read grow bags leak nutrients quickly. So my question is, is there a way to know when to fertilize?

You should do some enrichment to the soil yearly. We mix in manure at the end of the season so everything is ready to go in spring. You can at any time add bagged manure, and mix in as store bought is already composted down. If you are using bagged fertilizer I would follow the directions. Some are for mixing in and some are for top dressing.
