I have a few more questions that I can't seem to find answers to.

1.) This is prob a stupid question but do you feed cornish chicks 24/7 until about 3 weeks before you start the 12/12 on/off? Or can you feed them 12/12 from day one? (I have chick starter 20%)

2.) I plan on doing the FF, and plan on storing it in the muddroom, it's not a controlled temp room, it can get cold in there and it could get hot, so my question is, is there a certain temp the FF SHOULDNT be stored in?

3.) This question I just want to double check on: How long can you use the same bucket of FF before you need to start over? What are some signs it's no longer good?

Thanks! Hopefully TS get in their meat birds this week! Excited and nervous all at the same time!!

1.) You will be ok going out to 3 weeks. I switch to 2x's @ 2weeks.

2.) My pails never leave the coop ( broilers ), have had no problems.

3.) I typically do 2 batches of broilers ( late spring/late summer ). This year
prob. only late summer. I clean pails/coop/all watering equipment...between
batches. Never had FF go bad.....would assume smell

    Good luck.....relax & enjoy.
