Excuse my English as I have to write in a rush but I'd like to ask a few questions

So I found this baby duck around its dead mother I decided to not leave it there cause it'll probably die by it self.

After 2 days we had him in a box with some water, etc. We released him today to a place that had many ducks we left him with a mother and her ducklings he seemed to like it and didn't bother looking back I was hoping someone could tell me if I did the right thing and if you think he will survive with his new mother and will they accept it as her own??

thank you for your time!@!!

Frequently orphans are accepted by mothers of the same breed. If the mother had many ducklings of the same size (so that he would not stand out), he may very well have found a new family. You did a good thing.

Well he just joined them without hesitation so I think that's a good sign one more question would the mother try to hurt him or get rid of him if she does not accept him?

I think this may be a happy ending! If the duckling is approx same age and size as momma's ducklings. It has been my observation, that ducks,( much like my three year old daughter), cannot count very well. And Maternal instinct usually overrides logical deduction.
