We have a lot of chickens that have hatched and peeping that goes for quall!!!
We haven't had any ducks or geese hatch.
Now our geese and ducks are laying.FUN FUN

Trying not to post too much yet, but I think the main hatch is over. I am tallying the count and will get it out there as to who's eggs hatched and what we started with and ended with. Plus the sale is Saturday so I have to get ready for that! OMG so many fluffybutts and so cute, how can I possibly sell them !

I want em all but don't have the room! (thank goodness!!!)

I will try to update on the stats as soon as the final results are in. Karan and Shelley's eggs are hatching as we speak! Karan, your duck eggs look GOOD! They should be due next Wednesday! Along with my call ducks and my Buff Orpington eggs! WOO HOOOO! Then it will slow down..........notice I did not say it would STOP!!! BWAHAHAHA

I know out of the big hatch there were a bunch that did not make it to hatching, not sure what happened but it was one whole incubator that did not complete hatching. URGH. there were like 75 eggs total that we candled with no activity that saddened me. A bunch of them were quitters early like after the second candling. there were about 10-12 that looked like quitters after day 18. Most of those were mutt eggs but some were out of the pures. I just had a meeting last night and haying the cattle and feeding my kids and I was just pooped out and did not get to tallying totally. Bad me!

You have taken on a HUGE Project and have been running it like clock work.

You have done a great educational service to your FFA kids and comminuity. And have given your BYC family such a joy to be part of it I applad you for it
