Field Peas

Hi All,
Some time ago I posted about my chickens not eating field peas... these were mixed with oats which the chickens would eat and just leave the peas.... well since I had a few sacks of the the peas and oats mixture I just feed it to them anyway... after a month they eventually starting eating the peas ( for no apparent reason) ... I bought two french marons and they seemed to be the first to start eating the peas and as usual the rest of the flock just followed suit. SO HAPPY DAYS.

. I know what you mean. Anything new and my hens are very suspect to eat it. But then one decides to be the guinea pig and pretty soon they're all eating it.
