Im not a cat person, but the feeling ya get when you help out a helpless animal in need is such a great thing.
I totally picked up on the emtional aspect you conveyed in your thread.
Hopefully you can find her a good home and you will sleep better knowing you did a good thing!

I'm still planning on adding her into an adoptathon with our rescue group but I want to get some weight on her and well, socialized does not seem to be a problem now.
Yesterday evening I walk into my DBF's house (where the kitten is staying in the spare room) and I call out to find out where he is. He walks sheepishly out of the spare room and says "uh, I was just checking on the kitten". Suuuuurrrrre. That kitten was already fed and playing with some new toys. DBF has been coming home on his lunch hour and feeding her. DBF is always lying on the floor playing with her in the room.
I think DBF is in love. The day that kitten has to go to an adoption event is the day he will finally break down and admit it.

I really can't blame him though. Look at that face.

DBF names her last night. I didn't tell him I was thinking about naming her 'Picaboo'. He comes into my house (kitten is at his place) and the first thing he says is "Her name is Pixie. Pixie Consequence Jones." I say "Jones?? Are you keeping her?"
"You know I am. That was your plan all along."

and it worked......
He is just in love with this kitten.

She's getting very playful.
