Fighting already??

As long as they aren't drawing blood and everyone gets a rest (no one is relentless while everyone is trying to sleep) then they are fine... they are practicing being big chickens and starting to see what they can do. Also, within a few weeks time they will start to work out pecking orders amongst themselves.... mine are 7 weeks old now and just today one of my roos gave a quick peck to the back of the neck to one of the girls who cut him off at the feeder. And, I've already begun to notice that my faverolles and my isa browns are generally the ast to eat when I refill a nearly empty feedr.... not sure if they are at the bottom of the order or if they are just more laid back and realize the feed will still be there when everyone else is done. Wait a few more weeks, it funny watcing them fly up at each other and have a mock "matrix" dual in the air. Some of my gals are the biggest instigators of the bunch always quick to take a stance and see who is tallest and can stare dwn the best
