Looks like one of your chicks was dyed purple. Too early for Easter. Is one chick always bothering the other, or do they both peck at each other.?
 
They are dyed to look cuter. But, i've bought 8 from that same man and all of them grow up to be beautiful white roosters and hens.
 
if they are white leghorns those will be the best egg layers you will ever get
when i keep my baby's i put them in a giant water bowl ( Rubbermaid FG424288BLA Stock Tank 100 Gallon Black) and fill it with shavings. i always buy a flock block or chick block for them
its basically soap on a rop but instead of soap its compacted chicken food make into a ball or brick
id get them one and it lets them peck at something other than each other. if its just simple pecking then its fine but if one gets injured it is something serious and they will peck at him till he dyes ( natural selection)
also the color red is supposed to reduce cannibalism. but idk if thats true ( thats why they make the feeders red i think
