Fighting within my flock advice??

I have a small flock- 1 neck neck roo, 2 leghorn pullets, and 1 silkie hen. I recently joined the hens with the roo. Prior to this, everything was fine. The introduction went swell, everyone got along perfectly, the hens were happy to have a rooster and the rooster was happy to have hens. But now (three days later) the other hens are attacking my silkie!! Why?? It was so sudden. They keep running/flying after her, pulling out her feathers, and they don’t just run and then stop- they run, pull out feathers, keep going, pull out more, the other hen will join in, the process continues, etc. Today the rooster pecked her. Not so much a fight, but just a peck and I’m worried he’ll start, too.

What can I do to fix this?? Why is it only starting now? TIA guys.

It is the pecking order and unfortunately there is next to nothing you can do but cringe and pray nobody loses an eye.

How old are your birds?

Silkies can act odd, so often they become targets. They are best kept with other silkies.
