Hi all:) Why are my hens picking on each other lately? (Btw,they are about 2 1/2 months old). I was out with them yesterday and noticed they were all fighting and pecking each other. It wasn't just a bunch teaming up on one particular hen..They were "ALL" fighting with each other.(Think they just had a bad day?

I was just going to ask a similar question. I just put a little perch in my baby box and i noticed the 4 week old and the 2 or 3 week (im guessing) puffing up and having a little spat over the perch. I hope its just the size difference and that i dont have two boys in there

If they are bumping chest and such then they are just playing. If they are pulling out feathers then it is a different matter. Chickens tend to do this kind of thing if they are crowded up and/or bored. You can try to give them blocks to climb on, dirt to scratch in and other various chicken toys. Might work.
