Figuring out complicated symptoms

I have a 5 month old hen that about two weeks ago I noticed limping. I inspected her and there were no signs of injury and within a few days the limp went away. but I noticed that although active and no longer limping she was laying down a bit more often and she was a bit lighter than usual. I took her inside, gave her some extra food and nutridrench and she seemed to perk up. The next day she ate food but it had to be put directly in front of her and she was very picky about what she would eat, that continued the next two days with her eating less and less until we had to syringe feed and water for her to get any. Her poop has also been inconsistent..mostly watery but occasionally more solid and occasionally with very tiny specs of blood, sometimes more green other times just dark brown. My husband and I live in a very isolated location so we have been doing hours of reading to figure out the problem, I made an expensive emergency trip to tractor supply to pick up corid as a last shot but that night we noticed she had mites. We immediately treated her and thoroughly inspected the rest of the flock (they showed no signs but will of course be treated along with the coop). This is where we disagree on the next course of action. My husband has been giving her nutridrench and thinks the corid will do her in after being weakend my mites, my thinking is that the mites are part of a bigger problem. As we know the two treatments cancel each other out I’m seeking an outside opinion on wether to start on corid or continue with vitamins/electrolytes. She is barely opening her eyes now and has no energy at all.

I have inspected her feces under a microscope and see no signs of worms….but I’m certainly no professional on what to look for beyond what google tells me.

No one else in our flock of 14 shows any signs of anything in behavior, laying or droppings (no blood or diarrhea or anything unusual) but she has been quarantined and Ive been very careful not to cross contaminate.

I suspected she may have started laying a few weeks ago but could never be sure it was her egg. She has not layed since being isolated but there’s no signs of her being egg bound or a broken egg either.

She’s the sweetest little cuddler and we really love her and hate to see her this way. We’re feeling so helpless at this point.

At that age I might suspect Mareks. Mites will be more present on unwell birds. Generally I see them as a symptom of the overall health of a bird. If you are concerned about cocidiosis I might just treat. Generally when birds start to turn down food and lose weight it can be hard to help them in my experiences.

I would definitely wait for more experienced advice. We generally don't treat unwell birds anymore, so I'm not familiar with the use of products beyond those that treat external parasites.

Thank you for your response. Mareks was top of my list of fears but I was holding out hope for something treatable. I appreciate you taking the time to weigh in.
