I read this as generaLIZARD so many times, and I'm laughing at myself.

We have them where I live and we are not at high altitudes either. Sagebrush are different than bluebellies over here by generally having smoother scales, smaller, and are less common than bluebellies. They also are lighter in color and have darker tones of blue than bluebellies. Their patterning is also smaller but more numerous typically.

I'm a bit of a Lizard fanatic.

I love finding lizards and learning about them. I appreciate the lizard facts. I've wondered for a long time what this little guy who lives in the garden was. Makes sense to me!

How many pets does everyone have?

15 chickens (11 hens, 4 roosters) and 11 cats. Actually found another litter of kittens from the feral cat population down the road and hope to rehome at least the super friendly one but if not, hoping he will stick around our house.
