We met in person for the first time last year. We met up half way and I took two of her chicks from her.

This year I took four more, but instead of meeting half way they came all the way out and we got to spend a few days together

It really depends on the cat. Earl Grey is a total sweetheart, for instance. (Who is also related to both of the other cats so maybe that shoots holes in my hereditary theory...) When a cat gets scared though, all bets are off.
