Finally a duck owner!

After about 4 years of research and waiting for the right timing, I finally received a bundle of joy in the mail this week! All Silver Appleyard ducklings from Metzer Farms. It's been a joy getting to bond with them this week!

Ahh yes week one is quite a joy. Wait until week five and you’re $1,000 in to building a run for them and they’ve escaped and pooped all over your guest room. Just kidding. Kind of. They’re so cute!!! Just... if you don’t have a run yet, start it now!!!

Mine is already complete. I decided to get housing done first before they arrived. I didn't want to race against time once they got here.
