Finally A swim proof Duckling water bowl!!!

So my bad little ducks like to swim and splash in water bowl and then do not have water, I have finally fixed it!

Lucky mine have given up!! Hoping can move out of shed soon so they have more freedom, they are out all day if it is warm enough for them.

I kind of do the same thing with an automatic dog waterer. I took a circular plastic lid off of a take-out container, cut it into a half circle with a bend in it, and duct taped it onto the back edge of the watering hole. They could then stick their heads in and clean their noses out, but no more swimming in the drinking water.

LOL.. yeah we use a small heated bucket in the barn, we tried the bigger one but the hens felt it was bath time

so we downsized.
