Finally!!! An egg!!!!

I think I'll share my egg-sess too ... my girls were hatched in feb. I'm not sure the exact date. I got them at 3 days old. About 2 months later, I aquire 2 more that were supposed to be the same age. I call them the sisters. They are very small hens compared to my 2 br, 1 rir, and 1 white leghorn. A couple weeks ago, one of the sisters layer 3 eggs while I was out of town and then went broody on non fertilized eggs. I figured I'd have a problem breaking g her, so I barrow ed my mom's roo and locked her up in my small coop. She hasn't layer since. 5 days ago, her sis started laying, I caught her in the act. Both girls have very small, white eggs with great shape. She lays one a day so far. Today, I go out and look and there is an extra egg in the nest. I don't think k it came from the sisters cuz it's much larger than their eggs. But it's white, so i think my white lh, layer her first today. Great shape, size and good hard shell for a first egg! I have yet to get a wierd egg, just the little ones the sisters have layed, but they are small birds. I was so excited I called my mom, sister, bff, facebook, and my boss hahaha. We love finding g eggs. I kinda hope one will go broody and make me some chicks. I have been leaving the eggs in the nest hoping it will encourage one to go broody.

Got a first egg yesterday from my RIR (or Production Red) Ruby! She layed one today too!!
