I really thought the first egg would have been from one of the RI reds as they appear larger and more mature!!! But it certainly is a pretty green and I can’t wait to taste it tomorrow

Congrats on your egg! The real fun part comes when you give the EE eggs to people and no one knows how to handle having a colored egg - especially the green ones! The facial expressions are priceless!

We actually have egg customers that ask not to get colored eggs lol

We also have people that request and love them.

My nephew thinks they're great! Lol

I had to explain to my father's wife that they're just like any other eggs bc she was freaked out lol

Then again we gave them two birds last year that we raised for Christmas and they haven't eaten one yet. It's her not my father he grew up on a farm.
