I've been lurking and reading for quite some time but I thought I would share my coop. I hunted for plans forever and finally used the creative mom's plans with huge modifications. I remember studying the bayou swamp coop pretty hard for ideas. I came in way over budget and over time but its serving me well now so I don't believe I'm sorry.

Here's just a couple pics. I have a few more but wasn't sure how many would post.

Looks Good. Are the eaves open for ventilation??? I can see the window and door one ether side. Good for summer. In winter, even though it does not get all that cold in area, you may want to close those in fowl weather. Best to avoid direct cold wind blowing on chickens. You still want all the ammonia and moisture removed. (respiratory health)
Movable also a good thing. Choose shade in summer, and sunny in cooler weather.
How many chickens do you have currently? Post some pix. We all enjoy seeing them. :thumbsup
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :highfive:

The eaves are open for ventilation and since its been hot I've been leaving their pop door open and the window cracked just a bit. Definitely will be shut up in winter. I have 2 adult hens and an adult rooster and two month old chicks so far. Have two more adults saved for me but haven't fenced in under the coop yet so holding off for now.
