Finally, chicken farmer again!

On Monday (8-24) I will be getting 20 Hi-Line Brown Chickens! I have been without chickens for about 2 months noow due to a FOX! But now with our fortress built they will be protected! We tested it on the German Shepard. He couldn't get the rabbit! So chickens should be safe. Top is covered, wire isburied 1 foot. That should do it!!!!!

Sorry about your predator losses! I too am getting back into chicken raising. Only my sebatical is since the mid 90's. We had chickens for 5 years and then had to leave it. We are now building a coop and run to house some ordered chicks.

Back in the day I did not have my run's top fenced or wired. I lost alot of my flock to a Hawk!
