My Barred Rock pullet FINALLY laid an egg!!!![IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

She started squatting on Jan 1st. I new something was up today because she was over by the coop cackeling her head off. I checked and there was nothing. But I saw her walk back in and go in the nest. She sat there for a while and when I came back she was just walking out. There in the corner was a nice brown egg! The other pullets were all checking it out too! Maybe they will start laying soon too! YEAH!!!

I've been so jealous of all the new layer posts now I'm part of the group!! WOO HOO!!! [IMG]

Just curious...how old is she? My White Rocks are starting to climb up into the nests and the Roo is trying to mate, Mine were born in September 16th, thought this would be too (but I'll happily take it!)
