Finally finished the quilt for my newest nephew!

My most recent nephew, Landon, was born 6 weeks premature on June 5th and I just finally got his quilt completed and ready to give to him over the weekend.

I bought some flat cording at JoAnn Fabrics to use for the name - I wanted the end result to look like rope. I pinned it in place until it looked right and then stitched it down. I thought it would be quick and easy, but it ended up being more time consuming than I expected. I really liked how it turned out, though!

Beautiful Quilt !!! Im always impressed (and a little jealous) by people that make quilts-the time and love put into them!!!! My best friend of 30yrs. makes quilts and made one when my daughter was born-she still has it loves it and probably will use it for her children-a beautiful thing !!!!! One of the best memories you can create!!!!
