Finally finished the UFO!

Just read the article. And I thought I had a pretty snazzy setup! Your coop makes mine look so sad!

You can see plenty of ventilation in the article in the coops area.

Lots underneath, but none on the top. Also wonder if it's truly waterproof.
Not saying it's not a very cool thing...just wondering about functionality.

That looks so cool.
But does the sound and lights do off every night? Or do you push a button to make it go ?

The lights are permanent..... we can turn them on anytime we'd like using a power source near the coop hatch

This will be our first winter..... insulation panels went in last night on the lower deck. We open the coop up during the day both in the hatch and also the front door. There is also air flow through the very top of the UFO inside that pointy metal point. We are using deep litter method to keep smell down and heat up. The outer surface is an aluminum roofing paint- designed for waterproofing a flat roof- so yes, def water proof

I keep thinking about this too....there was a house shaped like this where I lived in FLA.
Think it was FLA....can't really remember except we could see it in the distance all lit up at night and finally got up next to it...crazy!
