Finally fished my new run

Could you post a pic of said door? I'm just curious. Your run looks quite a bit like ours only bigger.
Here's a picture :)

Looks great, and so spacious. Hope you don't have predators like coons or dogs in the area as chicken wire is great for keeping chickens in but not keeping predators out.

Thank you so much! I'm hoping there's nothing either. We have a stockade fence and we lock the girls in at night, so hopefully that will deter any predators.

Hoping for you and your girls that it works in your area. I'm paranoid of raccoons as they did so much damage to my house and they dug under my neighbor's chain link fence to kill her chickens. We see coons at all times of the day and night and the fox that runs the creek behind my house. I live in the city but have a park behind my home. I also had coyotes go right through a chicken wire run years ago when I lived in the country and kill my flock of chickens, haven't had chickens since. I know my dogs would do the same.

Oh my! That sounds awful. We don't really have a lot of wildlife in my area. I'm hoping that everything works out, and that no animals pop up.

Believe me I'll be checking around my run and coop daily for any attempts to get in. The run and coop will be covered with a solid roof since coons can climb most anything including steel siding. My progress report on building is under the title Gramcracker's coop and some photos as I get some things done.
