We finally finished our run! This thing took us a few weeks to complete  It's 16 feet by 24 feet, which is perfect for our new batch of chicks. Each panel is 4 feet wide, 5 feet tall. We used about 3 rolls of 50 foot chicken wire to complete it. It was a tad over budget, but it came out great (not the prettiest, but totally perfect purpose wise) :clap

That is one really really nice run I'm impressed. so you got a roofed over to with chicken wire?! very nice very nice. plenty of room for more birds. you only need 10 square feet per bird .so you got plenty more room for birds .really pretty.

Thank you so much! Yeah, putting chicken wire over the whole roof was a hassle. But it all worked out! I'm super excited to add new birds :)

Yes I agree it's a hassle but I tell you it sure helps keep the varmints out. if you get rain, you might want to consider topping part of the run. just put a big lightweight tarp over the top of the run. I did that worked really good and kept the run dry .so you have room for 38 more chickens total.
hot diggity! I see more chickens your future!

Thanks for the tip! I'm hoping the snow doesn't weigh down on it. And definitely, new chickens are a must :D
