Help, I finally found where the chickens are laying eggs, not in the house. I found a nest under a bush with eleven eggs. Are they good if they have been there a few days? I have been searching so I don't think they have been there long. I moved some eggs to the house and the nesting boxes and got two more today. I have heard that it's best not to refrigerate or wash?

To get your girls to lay in the nest boxes it's best to confine them in the coop for a few days. Put a golf ball or fake egg in the nest to persuade them to lay there. You can do a simple egg test by submerging them in water. It they sink they are fresh and good. If the float up a little they are probably still good. Do a search on here for the "fresh egg test". We wash our eggs in water warmer then the egg. Just a quick rinse. Once they are dry I put mine in the frig. Good luck.
