Good luck with all that. We moved here like 2 1/2 yrs ago. I never want to move again. We have 10 acres with a brick home on it. I love it and so will you. No neighbors that I can see. YEAH!!!

Oooh, 10 acres is even better!

Thankfully, even though the one we are trying to buy only has 5 acres, there are no neighbors in view and it's nicely covered with trees. I can't wait to get it fenced and build a coop and barn and start filling it with lots of fun fur-children!

Congratulations, cyanne! I think 5 acres is a decent amt of land myself. It's what we have here. I just wish mine had a small amt of pasture to grow a good garden on, though. We will naturally expect pictures!

The house is off of Hwy 71 in between Austin and Bastrop. I think the address is technically in Cedar Creek. So we'll be closer to you Carla! I'll have to invite you guys over for a coop building...or just have your DH build my coop (since I LOVED your setup when I got to visit for Chickenstock!)

We currently live in Leander (land of rocky soil and cactus) so it will be nice to have lots more trees and nice sandy soil!
