Finally getting into chickens

Hi community! I've been reading for awhile, but I want to get involved. Mostly because we're finally getting chicks! I ordered a lavender orpington, a cream legbar, and a blue laced red wyandotte that hatch may 6th. This is my first time having chickens as an adult. My parents had chickens when I was a small child and I loved them. I live in town and have a small yard, so we can't have very many. Our town allows up to 25! I think that's generous. We have 3 cats and 1 cavalier king charles spaniel. My husband and I also have a 6 month old daughter and I am looking forward to her growing up with chickens.
