Finally got it right.....or luck?

I found this site about a month ago and researched this site on proper ways to incubate eggs. What a difference a few simple steps can make. I put in 11 chicken eggs and 10 hatched! 2 passed after hatching, i believe they were too weak, one couldn't stand. But 10 hatches out of 11 is fantastic for me!! I have RIR and now want to try different varieties, any ideas? I would also like to incubate but I have never tried purchasing eggs for this before. Any tips? Thanks.... Sarah ~

It sounds like you already know how to incubate eggs. I am guessing they were local ones, maybe from your own flock. You can buy fertile eggs of most breeds - the problem is they may not be available near you. Shipping eggs is fraught with peril - most people have much better hatch rates if eggs to not have to be shipped.
