Found it in the pine shavings this morning. It is slightly tinted. Bigger than a large chicken egg,,,more like the size of a jumbo. Hubby is going to taste test it for breakfast

No idea who laid it. I have a runner, a buff and a khaki.

I will post photos after I get my camera battery charged.

The Khaki's are white; look kind of pearly. I got my first duck eggs on Dec.31st and they have been laying faithfully every day since then! I love going out there to find the eggs. They will "bury" them though, so you have to look closely. I had been getting 3 - 4 a day, then the other day I went out and only found 1; the same thing the next day, on the 3rd day I found where they had buried a clutch of them in the dirt and covered them with hay. Very sneaky those guys!

Here is the picture as promised

That is a large chicken egg next to it for comparison

As for the taste test...
The duck egg was richer than the chicken egg though hubby said he couldn't tell the difference. I did notice the white was much thicker and the yolk was much higher and firmer...not just larger than the chicken egg. It was delicious fried over easy in copious amounts of butter

So, you think the runner did it?

i don't think so... I have a fawn and white runner, here's their eggs:

Here's Victor with eggs... That big one is the biggest egg i've gotten from them so far... My brown runner also lays green tinted eggs
