I had originally placed an online order with a hatchery, but couldn't get the varieties I wanted until early June and even then I couldn't get them all. Yesterday, I found most of what I wanted at a local store, so I cancelled the existing order and brought these little ladies home with me.

There are a dozen in all: three blue-laced red Wyandottes, two golden-laced Wyandottes, two Dominant Coppers (Copper Maran/Barred Rock cross), two Easter Eggers, and three Colorpack (Ameraucana/Cream Legbar cross). One of the Colorpack has a dot on its head, so we think it might be a cockerel. Time will tell. So far, they all seem to be doing well and adjusting to their new home. My goal was multi-colored eggs and these gals will hopefully give me brown, dark brown, blue and green. I've not even had them two full days yet and they have already grown and started showing their personalities. I adore them!

Congratulations!
It’s really hard to get all the breeds you want at the hatcheries unless you order very early, like February.
Sounds like you have some very interesting breeds.
Please post pics as they grow!
We all love to see photos.
Also, consider joining one or more of the “Newbie Chat” threads under the Raising Baby Chicks category.
It makes it fun to interact with people who have chicks around the same age as yours.
I’m a part of the 2018 Newbie Chat.

Congratulations!! Adorable flock
I love the little copper colored one with the dark stripe, which breed is that one?

I'm pretty sure she is one of the Easter Eggers, though she may be a Colorpack. The chicks look very similar and I didn't get a close look at them all until after they were mixed up in the box. She is lovely and the markings on her face are quite striking. I'll try to get a pic of her looking at me. She has a marvelous personality, too, and is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Which means she'll probably turn out to be a cockerel, lol.

EDIT: I looked a little closer and think I figure out which two are Easter Eggers and she wasn't one of them. That would make her a Colorpack, which is, I think, a Cream Legbar/Ameraucana cross.

Ah, what cute babies you have! Good luck! Hope they are all girls. Chicks are so much fun. My favorite chick ended up being a girl so don’t give up hope. She is still my little shadow anytime I am outside with them. :)

I always seem to find that even locally it is hard to find exactly what I want together. They small feed store I like to buy through gets different chicks each week so finding a week that more than 1 breed of what I want has been a challenge. So I have decided that if at least two on my list are available at the right time then I will get chicks. :)

Right now I have 4 Frizzle Bantam Cochins in our brooder box. My daughter loves her bantams and this is what she picked out. When grown up enough these will be joining her Silkies and Ameraucana bantams. We are hoping for girls since we already have a Silkie rooster.
