Finally got my first green egg!! *pics*

Its beautiful, how exciting!!! I got my first blue egg a couple days ago and I am still waiting on a green one. Congrats!

I am so jealous. I have 7 20 week olds. No eggs yet. I think my Campine squatted for me today, but I'm not sure -- it could have been a combination of the wind and my wishful thinking. I have one EE, and I'm hoping for green or blue eggs from her. I keep telling myself, patience - patience.

Awww, my Gertrude McFuzz looks just like your girl. She hasn't laid any eggs yet, but I am looking forward to a blue or green any day. I gathered 3 eggs today, but all were pinkish/brown. It feels like everyday is Christmas, I never know what colors I will find when I open the henhouse!

How exciting -- I know you are over the moon.

She looks a lot like my Marilla, who laid my first egg too. I could not bring myself to break her pretty pretty egg, so I drilled a hole in each end, blew out the insides and have kept the shell. Call me a sentimental fool!

By the way, with these short days, and Marilla is now moulting, neither of my EE's have laid an egg in weeks -- count your blessings and your eggs!
