FINALLY got one on video!!!!

Y’all just don’t know how long I’ve been trying to catch these on video! First one is the Egg Laying. Second one is the Egg Song to let the other ladies know she accomplished her goal and is coming back out to the flock.

I have seen my Orloff lay an egg several times, because she faces her tail towards the front of the nest box (which is actually a cat litter box)!

They are all incredibly loud...I think the volume is meant to catch my attention inside the house...or maybe they’re just testing all my neighbors tolerance levels! Good thing for me I have plenty eggs for all my neighbors to thank them for their tolerance!

I have seen my Orloff lay an egg several times, because she faces her tail towards the front of the nest box (which is actually a cat litter box)!

She’s a Barred Rock. They are the sweetest birds ever!!! I have 7 of them and 5 Golden Comets. I think if I ever get more chickens, I’ll go with Plymouth Rocks again. Maybe Barred again, but I’m really intrigued by the newer color. The Silver Pencilled Rock, I think they’re absolutely gorgeous!
