Finally have first blue egg!!!

One of our Ameraucana finally laid today. Boy they sure are slower than the other breeds. The larger browns are from our RIR and the smaller pink, taupe, and browns are from our Buff Orps. I'm a proud chicken Mama

That is a really pretty color~! I can't wait to see my girls eggs. They are 18 weeks...I'm waiting patiently. Well, maybe not patiently!

I am impatiently waiting for my first colored egg. My one EE is about 23wks and no eggs yet... sigh. I really, really hope she doesn't make me wait another month or more.
