I have an 11 year old too, and we have 8 week old chicks and during tv time my daughter puts her chick (named biscuit) into her dressing gown with its little head poking out, they are SO tame!
my chicks favourites are meal worms, you 1000% cannot go wrong with them!!

Mealworms are a great treat! I don't have chickens, but my ducks go crazy for them! I've seen my friend's chickens go nuts over them as well.

Do people order mealworms by mail? Or just find them lying around under dead animals?
