Finally I found her!!

I have been trying and trying to find Nibbles nest, i have caught her going under the our rental mobile that we're staying in right now, more than a few times but when i get down there to look for her shes GONE!

finally i fed her today, gave her some water when she came out and sat and waited to follow her....

she went under and i got down to follow and she was GONE again!!!

so i stayed and looked around for a few minutes and saw a spot that was totally hidden behind some blocks..hmmm..

i went around the trailer and pulled a piece of skirting off and VOLA!! there the little fart was, nested almost right on top of the dryer vent, lol. it must have been cold when she made her nest.

I am just glad I finally found her ans shes so close..good girl

Well, just don't name them things like tater tot and fried chicken(or duck?).

I don't eat the giblet things in chickens/turkeys... BLECH. Organs.

I am gonna go check on her again today, i really gotta keep an eye on her, we had problems with my sisters heeler killing chicks last year so i wanna get them penned as soon as shes ready to get off the nest.

i'll flip out if that dog gets any of my precious babies!!

You could do the same thing I have. Take 2 eggs from the nest and stick them in the incubator. When yours hatches, hers will be hatched, then you can place the incubated babies back with Mom. So happy you found her though, it drove me crazy looking for my duck also. Then I found her the same way, sitting on her nest of eggs. Mine are due around the 5th.
