Finally I got me an egg!

I am so proud of my girls one of my two banty girls laid their first egg today at 32 weeks. She even did it in the nest box. I am expecially proud cause these are my very first that I hatched myself. So tommorrow I will be watching them closly to figure out wether Holly or Bonnie laid the egg.

I am on day 7, I am gonna candle on day 10. The bator has been doing pretty good, lowest 98.5 and highest at 100.3, humidity has been between 30% and 45%. Momma is also sticking tight to her nest.

Sounds good. Crossing fingers that all will go well. Since you've divided them up between the bator and your broody, your odds should improve!

32 weeks??? OMG!!!!!! I thought mine made me wait a wicked long time. You musta been going crazy. I remember how irritating it was to go out every day thinking that today will be the day!!!
I really began to think they were never going to lay an egg. I have 2 EE bantams that are 20 weeks old and i wonder if they will lay soon or wait til spring. Congratulations!!!!!

naw I don't eat eggs, i'm vegan. My dad might though......
