Hi all,

Had some trouble getting on the forum. With the help of the backyard-team I finally have an account.

More then a month ago i found a baby duckling run over by a car. Its tail was smashed and didn't stop bleeding. I raise animals i find from a young age so i new how to put a bandage on it and keep it warm on my belly wile watching tv.

He survived but has no tail and no oil gland. He can sadly never go back to the park he wil sink within an hour. At www.facebook.com/sammiedeeend you can follow all his steps to adulthood. From tiny baby to al almost full grown drake.

He can stay with us and wil get a female maybe a runner duck as company. He is very tame and loves to sleep on my lap. I rescued and raised about 70 weak ducklings left alone or wounded when i was young so i really enjoy his company and the fact there is a lovely duck in our family..

For everyone who would like the follow Sammie and see video's you can like the fb page.

This is Sammie when i had him a day.
