Ditto on that as well

, I spent the $10 and then I started to see the pictures of other items and felt bad but really I just followed the swap guidelines as well. Hopefully I will get a special surprise soon

I'm a total clearence nut! Generally I buy bulk on clearence and also shop at cheaper stores, you can still stay in the $10 range and get good stuff, but like others said it's not about the amount it's about the fun and getting a surprise in the mail every month, my daughter LOVES LOVES when mommy does swaps

If you get a gift from me and I forgot to take the price tag off, don't get overly excited -- I try to never pay full price for anything.

tanya, thanks for the b'day wish -- i got your text. had a good weekend, lots of quiet time, well needed. Dogs got into a skunk, spent most friday and saturday trying to clean them up

skunk is so hard to get rid of . Went to PF Changs for my b'day supper and was walking to the bathroom, slipped fell, busted my butt -- I had to ask someone to help me up -- men sitting and standing all around me.

I am so glad you had a peaceful weekend. Sorry about your fall, I have had that happen too and they just stare. I have helped up a few women as several men just stood there

My vet gave me a skunk removal formula. Its 1 tsp dish soap, tsp baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. I don't remember the amount, I will see if I can find the recipe. It works really well. You just use it like a shampoo, then rinse really well. You may have to do it twice. That happens around here too often.

I cant find the darn recipe but I am still looking. I think it was 2 cups. Like I said you use it as a shampoo, rub it in good, let it set as long as the stinky pooch will let you!! Then rinse well.

Tanya, This is what i found, where do i get a quart of peroxide? I guess buy a bunch of little ones.

In the plastic container, combine 1 quart hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda and 1 to 2 teaspoons of liquid soap. Add lukewarm water if needed (for larger dogs). Mix ingredients well. The solution will fizz, as a chemical reaction is occurring. Use immediately - do not store.
