Hello! I've lurked in the shadows here for sometime, coming to BYC when I needed information on poultry related things, but never joined. I'm here now! I live in Oregon with our 21 laying hens, and their man Brooster The Rooster, aaaand 10 more baby hens growing up in our garage, aaaaannnnndddd 15 Lavendar Orpington and Aracuna eggs in the incubator, aaannnnd 2 Indian Runner ducks, aaaandd I'm excitingly getting my shipment of call duck eggs in the mail tomorrow!
So, that's all for now! I'm hoping to get a pair of heritage turkeys sometime in the near future (we usually raise up a few WBB or BBB turkeys a year here, but I want some to stick around!)
The one thing I've noticed about this forum, is that it seems like everyone is so helpful! I raise parrots also, and the parrot forums can be so judgmental sometimes.
You're scared to ask questions! But this place seem to be so friendly/helpful! I can't wait to load y'all up with questions!
