Have fun!!!! I can't wait to see pics, I went out to my coop tonite to check on my broody mama and I got a suprise. One of the eggs had pipped

and the other 5 are peeping at me

. I can't wait until tomorrow morning

. This is my third attempt this year and so far the hens are doing a better job then my incubator. If there is one lesson I have learned through all of this is leave them alone. I know it is so hard, I am right there with you. Good Luck

These little ones have me stumped as to the breed. I know that it is Silkie Cross and all but one has 5 toes, the other one has only 4

Potential moms could be

Light Brahma
Phoenix
Black Cochin
SL Polish
Buff Brahma
Blue Silkie (I doubt because the egg was brown and bigger than her)

What's your guess? I know it will be fun to watch them grow and keep guessing.

Scratch this the one that I thought had only 4 toes on each foot (I think I will name it oddball

) actually has 5 toes on one foot and 4 on the other.
