So I've been lurking a good bit without becoming a member. Now I'm loving this site and since we are getting some new chicks and hopefully having some hatch in the next day or so, I thought it was about time to join in the fun.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We had them growing up, we were the only people in the neighborhood with chickens!! My husband and I started our own coop four years ago. (We chose to live in the country)
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 1, her friends were killed off by some strange dogs. . .grrr.
(3) What breeds do you have? Aracauna, hopefully hatching some silkies this week and we are getting a surprise batch in the mail.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening, our kids, camping
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I teach, husband stays home with the three boys, 6, 3, and 1.
