Have "used" all of you here for over a year and have always found answers, information, direction and encouragement. You people are TOPS with me. We have 7 16 month old Golden Comets incubated and hatched from our excellent neighbors, and 12 Goldens that are 13 weeks old today. We just moved the newbies out into their run and coop from the barn and it has given me hours of fun watching and helping them acclimate. They have a common fence with the older Girls and that too is quite interesting. Neighbors came over right after we moved them thinking we had bought some geese as the older Girls were making noises I hadn't heard from them! There are also 3 cats, one is semi-feral and lives in the barn, one adopted the husband, and another from the daughter who couldn't keep him at the time and wanted him back (sorry, too late). Right now 5 horses (3 gelding saddles, 2 mare drafts), plus 15 'visiting' while their home barn is renovated. This site has saved the life of one of my Girls - Whitey (husband named) - sour crop, now chronic pendulous, and given us many ideas and solutions! Thank You! I decided to join to share information on potential fox deterrent - milorganite; I suppose I should read introduction information provided to figure out how to do that! Thanks again Folks.
