Finally started my coop!

Eh, that's probably more than I want to do....

Finally got the coop and run to an inhabitable state!

What did you end up using for the roofing?

I still haven't done the roofing. All the wire/netting isn't firmly attached yet. I'm waiting to see if I can find some leftovers, or just waiting to spread the cost out since we've spent so much $ already!

The inside doesn't have much yet, just two perches. I'm going to move the one on the ground, because otherwise it will be a pain to clean around.
The chickens love their coop and run- after the first night they put themselves to bed in the coop just before dusk, and when I let them out in the morning they come out as fast as they can!

What's in the mason jar?

A string of little red solar powered lights. The come on automatically after dark and last for a few hours, not bright at all.

I still haven't done the roofing.

Might want to throw a tarp up over that tar paper, weathering won't do it any good.
