Chicken coop and duck house building proved to take 3x longer than I planned. I tend to underestimate time and budget on most projects, this time was no different.

I am far from finished with the coops and runs, but they're safe and secure, all that's left is mostly cosmetic. BUT, I am happy to say that two of my three duck children are out in their new home. My special duck child will go out this weekend, but still come home with me at night. All of my chickens are in their coop/run as well.

Yesterday was pretty confusing for them, they spent most of the day adjusting. This morning they were all sleeping in their houses and SUPER excited to see me

Especially since I came bearing treats, dandelion greens, frozen peas, and chopped tomato.

Indie and Raj enjoying some peas in their "drinking water" swimming pool goes in this weekend.

They weren't happy that I was giving the chickens treats!

Indie is really getting green:)

Raj

Getting aquainted.

They're all happy campers! It makes all of the effort, aches and pains worth it!
