We finally have eggs! I skipped checking the nesting boxes yesterday, and then I cleaned out the coop this evening and found these. Very excited, but I am not sure who laid them exactly.

We have 2 white leghorns, 2 speckled sussex, a silkie (who turned out to be a roo), and a bantam silver sebright (who we think is also a roo as he is crowing now).

I’m thinking they are from the speckled sussex, but they seem a bit smaller than I thought they would be.

Think I’m right?

Here’s the silver sebright. We put a crow collar on him because he’s crowing and we live in the city.

The eggs look more brownish than whitish in better light.
