Finally!!!

    Okay, I had just about given up hope of ever having eggs. We have a small flock that turned out to be 3 roosters and 1 hen. The hen is a bantam silkie. Yesterday when my son went out to change water he noticed the hay from the nesting boxes had been disturbed. Immediately he jumped to the same conclusion I would have . . ."stupid rooster causing mischief again" . . . but when he looked in the box there was an egg!! Upon further investigation he discovered 3 more in other boxes and she laid another this morning.

    I grant you, these are tiny little eggs but hey, they're eggs!! Woo hoo! [​IMG]
    Once I fix my camera/computer problem I'll post the pictures.
