My sweet little black cheek hatched out two of her 5 or 6 eggs today. I hope some More hatch in the next few days. Most of all this is her first nest of babies. I hope she cares for them!
The daddy is not helping at all I don't understand why he raised a baby all by himself last summer when his mate pasted. I will fill better in a few days when they start yelling for food from mom. Until then I just check and hope

Congrats!!! Baby finches are so cute and tiny!! I've had bronzewing finches but only have on left now. She happily lives with 2 diamond doves and even sat on dove eggs with them. Unfortunately none of the dove eggs have been fertile. I haven't a clue as to how old my male is??

I missed all the road trip ones last year but determined to hit some this year!!!

cool! I have a Pied Red Headed Parrot Finch paired with a non-pied that just laid a clutch of eggs this week. I am hoping they hatch and raise the babies. The male is young and inexperienced. Wish me luck!

Three little babies today all looks well
There is still two eggs left
She seems to be feeding them good girl

Good girl! I wish parrot finches weren't so touchy, or I'd post pics of the babies when they hatch. They are TINY, about the size of a pea.

beautifullllllll I did raise finches while ago
and they are the cutest. enjoyed their cheeping all the time.
